How to read it
- Each round, every player brings 10. Players who contribute send it into the pool in the middle. Those are the colored dots flying in.
- The pool multiplies whatever went in by the teamwork bonus, then pays it out. The light blue dots flying back to each pillar are each player's cut.
- Holding back means keeping your 10 and sending nothing in. Under an equal split you still get a cut. That is free-riding, and it drains the pool: the water drops and the bonus shrinks for everyone.
- The numbers on each label are that player's gain or loss last round, compared with keeping their 10 and not playing.
- Each pillar is what the player ended the round with. The ring marks what they would get if everyone contributed. The platform tips toward whoever takes more than their share.
- The verdict comes from the rules alone, before anyone plays. It checks whether contributing is the best move, whether everyone comes out ahead, whether the split is fair, and whether any group would rather leave.
Under the hood: an N-player public goods game. The checks are a Nash equilibrium test, an outside-option test, the Shapley share, and a core test for coalitions.
